I’M THE CANVAS FOR MYSELF

by Volha  BABAIKA

The well-known phrase - “sex, drugs and rock-n-roll” hasn’t actual yet. Instead of this phrase another one is becoming popular now – “tattoos, piercing and crazy hair-styles”.

The new tendency is grasping our modern world at present. This modernity consists of the idea to be stand out, unique, sexy and creative.
People - like the live showpieces. People – like the parts of live performers. People – like the parts of the contemporary art.
So, the main question is: are such people the victims of this new tendency or the heroes, who have enough power to transform their body to a real canvas?
In most cases juvenile people try to imitate their idols, try to be fashionable and stylish. Because of that, he or she collects money and goes to the tattoo salon.
It’s a hotheadedly step in the name of popularity and for not to be a loser in the company, school, university, clubs, etc.
But there is another person. He or she really wants to create something original on their body. And this “originality” is prepared on his or her own or at least has a great sense or meaning.
Such people fully understand the responsibility and eternity of made tattoo.
The common thing of these examples is still normal – everybody wants to be more beautiful. What is the beauty for you: the clearness and naturalness of your body or the body-canvas?
The choice, condemnation or encouragement depends on you.
